The educational campaign on the Road Safety for people living along National Road 6 in Kompong Kdey 2 village, Kompong Kdey commune,
Chikreng district, Siem Reap province.

On September 06, 2017 the officials of Road Safety Department, the General Department of Road Transport, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport collaborated with the General Secretariat of the National Road Safety Committee,​ UYFC in the field of Public Works and Transport, Department of Public Works and Transportation of Siem Reap Province, Administration of Chikreng Hall, and Siem Reap Provincial Police Commissariat have campaigned to promote on road safety, distributed 500 brouchers of the Important Regulations about Road Safety, 04 helmets, 08 T-shirts, 500 reflective stickers,1,000 brouchers of Respecting the Traffic Law is for Protecting Your Life, Your Family and Others, 15 books of Law on Road Traffic to citizens along National Road 6, which is located at Kompong Kdey Market in Kompong Kdey 2 village, Kompong Kdey commune,
Chikreng district, Siem Reap province.

The purpose of this campaign is to awake the road users’ consciousness in order to be involved in respecting the law on road traffic, driving a motorcyclist must wear a helmet properly, the vehicle driver must wear a safety belt properly, If you drink alcohol, do not drive, Protect your life Do not drive over speed, To prevent and reduce of road accidents to the lowest level. The members of participants in this campaign are Department of Road Safety,

 

General Department of Road Transport, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, General Secretariat of National Road Safety Committee, UYFC in the field of public works and transport, Chikreng Hall, Department of Public Works & Transportation of Siem Reap province; Siem Reap Provincial Police Commissariat totaled 24 people.
